| The WCRC Regional Finals at UC Santa Cruz
was one of our largest to-date with 53 players! |
UC Berkeley edged out UC Santa Cruz by 50 points to take 1st place. Cal's success is due in good part to the Berkeley women: Jess, Candy, Paula, and Gaby winning Women's I 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th places. UC Berkeley's very strong Men's and Women's teams once again gives them enough points to win the WCRC 2011 Season.
Chris Pike (Cal) & Kevin Fixler (Cal) are new to the UC Berkeley team, and the won Men's III 1st and 2nd places.

Erica Williams (UCD) swept the season winning Women's I 1st place in all of the WCRC tourneys this season! Marta Vergara (UCD) won Women's II. The strong UC Davis Women's team helped UC Davis finish 2nd for the WCRC 2011 Season.
The UC Santa Cruz Men's team was very strong with Larry Pack winning Men's I for two straight tourneys, and Eric, Reid, Henry, and Rafael sweeping the top four spots in Men's II.

Those trophies are looking a little heavy ... There's other teams willing to help! UC Davis won the Winter tourney, held at UC Davis.
